CONNY OCHS to play special show at Berlin’s vinyl pressing plant Objects Manufacturing

Objects Manufacturing, Exile On Mainstream, Unlimited Sonic Use, MINT Magazine and the Vinyl Alliance team up to bring you a concert experience of a special kind: With his 10th album for Exile On Mainstream, singer-songwriter Conny Ochs likely needs no further introduction. For years, Conny Ochs has been touring the world as a rock ‘n’ roll troubadour, from concert to concert, mostly solo but never alone. Often stripped down to the essentials – a western guitar and a voice that is at times pleading, demanding, hopeful, or regretful, but always candidly honest – his music is rooted in storytelling. Conny constantly adds new layers to his narratives through the locations of his performances and the routes of his travels. He has played concerts in car repair shops, at the foot of mountains, in churches, at art performances, in galleries, and on beaches. These locations gain a unique aura through his presence and direct connection with the people there, turning his concerts into spaces of immersion and transcendence.

His performance at Objects Manufacturing will add a new chapter to this journey. Conny’s music, created in its raw directness is best to be enjoyed live, but also shines naturally bright on vinyl. On this evening, both facets will merge. Objects Manufacturing, a boutique pressing plant in Berlin-Schöneweide with a strong cultural ethos and deep ties to artists and labels, is the perfect venue to host Conny Ochs live in its production hall. Visitors will have the rare opportunity not only to experience one of the most impressive singer-songwriters of our time but also to get a glimpse into the intricate details of vinyl record production.
